    The kitchen is the heart of the home. It is the quintessential gathering space. The kitchen should not be an afterthought in student living, but  the main idea. To gather on the premise of food is to gather and live. Food is the one thing that everyone has in common, and the one thing that sets us apart. The premise of FFT is to enhance students’ relationships to each other through food and completely re-imagine the concept of student living.
